<p><strong>The Job Shoppe is hiring CNC Machinists to join our team in Windsor, Ontario.</strong> Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision tooling and molds for the plastic injection molding industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company known for quality, innovation, and craftsmanship while working with advanced machining technology.</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Windsor, Ontario</p>
<p><strong>Wage:</strong> $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience</p>
<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> Hiring immediately</p>
<p><strong>Position Type:</strong> Full-Time, On-going (Must be available to work 40 hrs weekly plus overtime)</p>
<p><strong>Shifts:</strong><br>
Afternoon Shift: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm<br>
Overtime as required based on production needs</p>
<h3>What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities)</h3>
<p>As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines used to manufacture precision tooling and molds.</p>
<p>Responsibilities may include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers
<li>Perform full 3-axis and 5-axis CNC programming using WorkNC software
<li>Program and machine plates and tooling components
<li>Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
<li>Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring equipment
<li>Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and first-piece inspections
<li>Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
<li>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet production schedules
<li>Maintain equipment and work area while following all safety and quality standards
</ul>
<h3>Position Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience
<li>Experience with full 3-axis and 5-axis CNC programming
<li>Experience using WorkNC software
<li>Experience with plate programming
<li>Strong understanding of machining practices and precision tolerances
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team
<li>Reliable transportation
