<p>We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of household activities, manage staff, and coordinate various services to maintain a comfortable, efficient, and well-maintained home environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and discretion.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the household to ensure a well-organized, efficient, and welcoming environment. This role requires strong organizational and administration skills, discretion, and the ability to manage schedules, and household needs while anticipating and resolving issues proactively.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate daily household operations, ensuring the home runs smoothly.</li> <li>Manage household schedules, appointments, and family calendars.</li> <li>Maintain inventories of supplies, groceries, and household items; oversee purchasing and restocking.</li> <li>Preparing daily meals, snacks, considering dietary preferences and restrictions.</li> <li>Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers (cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, etc.).</li> <li>Oversee property maintenance and ensure timely repairs.</li> <li>Perform regular household cleaning tasks.</li> <li>Assist with pet care duties as needed.</li>
</ul> <p><strong>Family Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with travel arrangements, reservations, and event planning.</li> <li>Run errands and manage personal tasks as needed.</li> <li>Support family members with coordination of school, extracurricular, and social commitments.</li>
</ul> <p><strong>Financial & Administrative Oversight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage household budgets, expenses, and petty cash.</li> <li>Track invoices and payments for vendors and service providers.</li> <li>Maintain records of household operations, warranties, and service contracts.</li> <li>Other administrative tasks as assigned.</li>
</ul> <p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a similar role (House Manager, Estate Manager, Personal Assistant, or Hospitality Management).</li> <li>Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Discretion, reliability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.</li> <li>Proficiency with scheduling tools, budgeting, and MS Office/Google Suite.</li> <li>Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.</li>
</ul> <p><strong>Work Environment & Expectations:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full-time role; Monday to Friday</li> <li>Combination of administrative and hands-on tasks.</li> <li>Occasional evenings and weekends for events or special projects.</li>
