Responsible for performing physical tasks to assist with shipping, receiving, order picking, and material flow in alignment with production schedules. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment to support cost-effective and timely logistics operations.</div> <div dir="ltr"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div> <ul> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Perform general warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks, palletizing, staging, and moving materials.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and handling of materials.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, staging, and production areas.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Support inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Report damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Collaborate with logistics coordinators, warehouse clerks, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Assist with material movement to and from production lines to support continuous manufacturing flow.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Participate in health and safety training and follow all environmental and EHS regulations, especially with lithium-ion battery materials.</div> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Skills & Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">High school diploma or equivalent.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred (but not required).</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Forklift certification (considered an asset; training may be provided).</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Strong attention to detail, with good communication and teamwork skills.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Ability to follow safety rules, policies, and procedures consistently.</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Basic computer literacy an asset (for scanning, ERP/WMS systems).</div> <li dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr">Willingness to work rotating shifts (days/afternoons/nights as required).</div> </ul> <p><strong>Work Environment and Physical Demands:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Transitioning between indoor and outdoor areas in a clean, climate-controlled facility with some ongoing construction. <li>Sitting, walking, squatting, bending, reaching, and frequent use of both hands throughout the shift. <li>Stair use may be required. </ul> <strong>Required PPE Items:</strong> <ul> <li>CSA SD approved safety shoes <li>Safety Vest <li>Safety Glasses <li>Hard Hat </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>What The Job Shoppe Offers:</strong></p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>Competitive wage paid weekly, with overtime after 44 hours <li>Optional opt-in healthcare coverage <li>Exclusive WorkPerks (partnerships with local companies on PPE, work apparel, and more) <li>Employee engagement programs <li>Referral Program <li>On-site support from The Job Shoppe </ul> <p dir="ltr"><br> <strong>About The Job Shoppe:</strong><br> <br> The Job Shoppe, an international award-winning full-service Human Resource Firm that has provided world-class business solutions for nearly 20 years.
