This is a great opportunity to work for an industry-leading company and learn new skills.<br> <br> Location: Lakeshore, ON<br> <br> Wage: $19.84/hour ($1.00 shift premium for the afternoon shift)<br> <br> Start Date: Hiring immediately, with various start dates available<br> <br> Position Type: Full-Time, On-going (Must be available to work 40 hrs weekly plus overtime)<br> <br> Shifts: </p> <ul> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Swing Shift (Days: 6:30am to 2:30pm, Afternoons: 2:30pm to 10:30pm) OR (Days: 7am to 3pm, Afternoons: 3pm to 11pm)</p> </ul>   <p dir="ltr">What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities): </p> <p dir="ltr">The general labourer is responsible for assisting the production team to deliver customized engineered fabricated facade projects to completion. General labour support includes (but not limited to) all general labour activities, material handling, general equipment operation, building services, etc.</p> <p dir="ltr">Responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Cutting, grinding, polishing and drilling aluminum product  <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Handling large panels of glass in the warehouse. This may involve using slings and power lift devices. </p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Applying adhesives, sealants and caulks. </p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Using, cleaning and maintaining various types of equipment.</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Must be able to physically move large, heavy products through the fabrication process – push, pull, lift and carry material weighing up to 50 lbs. </p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Deliver assigned custom fabricated projects to timely completion, including for preliminary project scope reviews, all aspects of customized team fabrication, quality control, to product ready for delivery.</p> </ul>   <p dir="ltr">Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Previous experience using construction tools (saws, drills, grinders, etc.)</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to read and work with a measuring tape</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Legally eligible to work in Canada</p> </ul>   <p dir="ltr">Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Face-paced work environment</p> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Physically demanding position.
