<p dir="ltr">We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join a leading industry company in the automotive industry in Windsor, Ontario. The HR Generalist is responsible for maintaining and communicating company policies to supervisors and associates, supporting both hourly and salaried staff. This role will promote, implement, and communicate activities related to policies, regulations, and standards that impact employment and occupational matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment.</p>

<strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong><br>
<br>
<strong>Recruitment & Onboarding</strong>
<ul>
<li>Participate in the full recruitment process, including confirming strategies with the HR team, interviewing candidates, coordinating offer approvals, and coaching managers on recruiting best practices and vendor management.
<li>Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as required.
<li>Organize and execute employee onboarding programs, coordinating training and development initiatives.
</ul>
<strong>HR Program Administration</strong>
<ul>
<li>Administer and execute HR programs, including compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, disputes, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, occupational health and safety, and training.
<li>Promote HR programs to create an effective, collaborative, and conflict-free workplace.
<li>Provide accurate information and support to employees on HR-related topics such as compensation, benefits, and leaves, and resolve employee concerns promptly.
</ul>
<strong>Compliance, Metrics & Reporting</strong>
<ul>
<li>Manage monthly HR metrics, including attendance tracking, hiring activities, and performance indicators.
<li>Maintain the training matrix to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and certification requirements.
<li>Track hourly employee attendance and vacation, and issue corrective actions as appropriate.
</ul>
<strong>Advisory & Employee Relations</strong>
<ul>
<li>Provide guidance and coaching on sensitive, confidential, and complex HR issues.
<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, Employment Standards, and other relevant regulations and human rights requirements.
</ul>
<strong>Health & Safety</strong>
<ul>
<li>Assist with health and safety programs, WSIB claims, and STD/LTD program administration as required.
</ul>
<strong>Position Requirements:</strong><br>
<br>
<strong>Education</strong>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Minimum:</strong> College Diploma or University Degree in Business Administration or related field.
<li><strong>Preferred:</strong> CHRP/CHRL designation.
</ul>
<strong>Experience</strong>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Minimum:</strong> 3 years of HR experience.
<li><strong>Preferred:</strong> 5 years in an ISO/TS16949 manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
</ul>
<strong>Skills & Competencies</strong>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li>Proven ability to build long-term relationships and earn trust.
<li>Strong knowledge of all HR disciplines, including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, compensation, WSIB, and Health & Safety.
<li>Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
<li>Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
<li>Demonstrated professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity in handling employee matters.
<li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
<li>Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email applications.
</ul>
