<strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong>
<ul>
<li><strong>Prospecting New Clients:</strong> Actively identify and engage with potential clients to discuss their risk management and financial goals, conducting regular reviews to empower clients to make informed financial decisions.</li>
<li><strong>Building Community Relationships:</strong> Cultivate strong ties within the community to enhance your agency’s visibility and maximize new business opportunities that contribute to sales and growth goals.</li>
<li><strong>Developing Business and Marketing Plans:</strong> Create and execute effective business, operational, and marketing strategies that contribute to the sustainability and growth of Canadian communities.</li>
<li><strong>Team Development and Leadership:</strong> Recruit and mentor employees, managing their performance to facilitate their development and help achieve agency goals.</li>
<li><strong>Maintaining Compliance:</strong> Ensure the maintenance of required licenses and adherence to ethical standards, corporate policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.</li>
</ul>
<strong>Position Requirements:</strong>
<ul>
<li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3-5 years of management experience in the insurance industry or related fields.</li>
<li><strong>Education:</strong> Post-secondary education in a related field.</li>
<li><strong>Licenses:</strong> A Life Insurance license and a General Insurance license are required. A Mutual Funds license is an asset.</li>
<li><strong>Professional Designations:</strong> Completion or progress toward certifications such as CFP, CLU, CHFC, or an accredited Financial Planning Designation.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work away from the office regularly, meeting with clients and community members.</li>
<li>Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.</li>
<li>Capacity to provide support to clients experiencing personal or financial loss, requiring a high degree of confidentiality.</li>
<li>Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check.</li>
