Regional Sales Manager/Branch Manager  (Wastewater Treatment Equipment)

Location:  Denver, CO

Duties include as a minimum

§         Canvas territory to develop complete customer list including engineers, municipalities, water & wastewater treatment plants, contractors, and industrial accounts.

§         Actively promote products represented by us on a regular basis by making regular contact with all customers in your assigned sales territory.

§         Educate and inform customers relative to our products through sales presentations, brown bag lunches, local conferences, etc.

§         Aggressively pursue all projects involving equipment represented by us, both direct sales and competitive bids.

§         Make regular sales visits to customers while accompanied by manufacturers. Use such visits to promote sales and receive product training.

§         Stay personally informed and current on industry trends through reading, contact with reps in other areas, etc.

§         Make regular contact with vendors.

§         Work diligently to review specifications before they are published and influence bid forms.

§         Seek out customer needs and find products to meet these needs.

§         Attend regional and national conference and national sales meetings as directed by Company officers.

§         Attend and be active—participate at all Sales Meetings.

§         Follow up every quotation until all equipment quoted has been purchased. For each quotation prepare a summary for EACH PRODUCT quoted detailing results, other bids, etc.

§         Conduct all business with integrity and honesty.

§         Respond quickly to all customer inquiries.

§         Promptly respond to leads from manufacturers and inform manufacturer of a lead status.

§         Prepare customer list for sales territory and indicate contacts, projects, catalogs on hand.

§         Prepare sales projections, update each quarter, and report to Company President as requested.

§         Set personal goals and projected margin at the beginning of each fiscal year.

 

Who we are looking for:    

  •   BS degree
  •   Experience in the water and wastewater industry
  •   Proven track record in Outside Sales, covering a Territory
  •   Mechanical and engineering aptitude - knowledge in the fields of water and wastewater products. 
  •         Ability to grasp engineering and product application concepts easily. 
  •          Strong Interpersonal Skills - Able to build and sustain strong and healthy relationships with team members and customers. 
  •          Strong Communication Skills – able to present Self and Company professionally and effectively to customers via telephone, in writing and especially face-to-face.

Business Development Director (Industrial Chemicals)

Location: Chicago, IL

This person is responsible for high level solution selling to major industrial accounts (metals, food and beverage, petrochem, wastewater municipalities, chemical, paper, etc.) as well as managing a staff of 9 project/process engineers.

Full P&L responsibility of a multi-million dollar territory.

Identify and develop new business opportunities and alliances that promote growth objectives. This growth will come in at least three basic areas;

1) currently commercialized offerings/applications to companies that know they need our products and/or applications,

2) currently commercialized offerings/applications to companies that are unaware that our products and/or applications can solve their problem(s),

3) developing offerings/applications that will solve identified customer problems.

·        Accountable for Regional growth goal on an annual basis.

·        Leadership to drive performance of Business Development Team through coaching and performance management.

·        Liason between customer and National Business Development Team, R&D, Engineering.

·        Resource planning to optimize utilization of existing resources by prioritizing opportunities that develop.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Business

12+ Years Business or Business Development experience

8+ Years Sales experience

Technical Sales Engineer (Chemicals and Equipment)

Locations; Multiple ( Houston TX, Ridgecrest CA, Palm Springs CA, Sacramento CA, Seattle WA, Louisville KY, Trenton NJ, Cleveland OH, Hastings NE)

Job Description: Sales and technical service of chemical programs and applications in chemical plants, refineries, co-generation, power, steel, pharmaceutical, nuclear and paper industries. Positions are responsible for assessing the needs of operations personnel, troubleshooting, consulting, transferring technology/selling the chemical treatment program to the manufacturer. This is a real "hands-on", technical service related sales position for the engineer who wants to do something different with his/her career, still be technical, work in manufacturing environment, but have more diversity and control over income or the sales rep who loves working with people.

Qualifications: Minimum of two years of accomplishments in either a "hands-on" plant engineering position in an industry similar to those mentioned above plus a technical education, i.e. B.S. Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, etc. OR technical sales/service experience calling on the same type plants. Requires excellent communication skills since you will be working closely with plant personnel (operators to engineering management).

Company description: Our client is a Fortune 500 international manufacturer of specialty chemicals, services and equipment for water treatment applications in a variety of manufacturing operations.

Salary: Base salary $50,000 to $95,000 plus commission  (top reps are earning  $100,000 + ), company car, laptop plus major company benefits. Positions include outstanding training. Relocation will be considered and relocation packages vary. Prefer some connection to the area where the opening is.  Excellent career path into management as well as outstanding earning potential.

Sales Manager-Municipal Wastewater

 

Location: Danbury, CT

 

Description: Technical Sales to the Municipal Wastewater Industry in the NorthEast United States.

 

Develop new business strategies and opportunities in the municipal and industrial waste water treatment markets.

Analyze, develop, and execute sales plans that effectively match our products and processes with market trends and needs. 

Develop and manage database of customers, customer targets and leads related to existing and new WWT offerings. 

Track and monitor industry trends and developments through secondary research and customer visits. 

Build network of contacts in the WWT industry to ensure  awareness of new projects, opportunities and competing offerings or technologies. 

Update and upgrade marketing materials as new market insight is gained.   

Feedback customer insight to the Corporations General Industries Global Market Network/R&D to be developed into new programs.  

Develop new offerings and value propositions that address new customer needs and fill out our product line.

Engineering degree, 10+ yrs relevant business experience, hands on experience with waste water treatment processes, particulary experience within the Municipal Industry

Business Development Manager II - Waste Water Treatment 

 

Applications/Design Engineer 

Location: Phoenix, AZ or San Diego, CA

Job Description:
 
AE will provide process support and develop proposals for sales team. Markets will vary, targeting sales opportunities for water systems primarily in the beverage, central laboratory, microelectronics, biopharm, power and other markets. The successful candidate will possess: outstanding technical process abilities, strong communications skills, MS Office proficiency and a desire to meet aggressive sales targets in a competitive environment. Some travel is required to provide technical support at customer meetings and to work with strategic customers to define technical requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work directly with a sales team to provide engineering process design of water system unit processes based on feed water analyses, customer specifications and budgetary considerations, as well as on-site presentations of selected system process.
• Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for aforementioned water systems by directing CAD resources.

• Develop costing of individual equipment operations (e.g.: materials, engineering and assembly) in conjunction with cost estimating resources, outside vendors and purchasing.
• Develop equipment specifications.
• Prepare proposals, including technical clarifications to bid documents, in order to design and develop equipment and systems, or redesign existing equipment, to fulfill the needs of customers.
• Acts as advisor to project manager regarding project process and technical details.

Primary Qualifications:
• Engineering BS Degree, ChemE preferred.
• 7+ years experience with:
o High purity water treatment technologies (including reverse osmosis pretreatment equipment, membrane filtration and ion exchange)
o Knowledge of Biopharm, Beverage, General Industry and Microelectronic process designs and their chemistry requirements.
o Understanding standard practices, concepts and procedures in Biopharm, Beverage, General Industry and Microelectronics water system designs and operation of manufacturing facilities, including system validation and sanitary equipment design.
o AutoCAD proficiency desired.
o A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
o Travel required (5-10%).

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000, plus bonus

 

Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Tiajuana, Mexico or San Diego, CA

 

Job Description:

 

The Sales Engineer is responsible for the sale of High Purity Process Water Treatment Equipment and Services to the industrial market place.

 

Target Industries include food, beverage, aerospace, metal working and finishing, microelectronics, light/medium manufacturing, commercial, health sciences, institutions, biopharm and biotech.

 

This equipment includes, but is not limited to the following: media filters, carbon filters, softeners, reverse osmosis, UV disinfection, ultrafiltration and service deionization.

This person will be responsible for the management of an established customer base and sales territory in the Tijuana, Mexico area.

Primary Qualifications:

  • Engineering BS Degree, ChemE preferred.
  • 2+ years experience with: High purity water treatment technologies (including reverse osmosis pretreatment equipment, membrane filtration and ion exchange)
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish fluency a must)

Salary: $50,000 - $80,000, plus Bonus

 

Global Product Marketing Manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Job Description:

The selected candidate will provide support for developing innovative global Analytical Instrumentation (pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Moisture, Hydrogen Purity) product strategy, sales readiness and channel support. 

He/she must have the ability to implement Product Line strategies developed by the Product Line Manager and/or Director of Marketing. This position also requires support provision for global sales readiness and selling channels.

Close interaction with engineering, global sales management and marketing communications are critical for this role. 

Strong communications skills are a must. 

Duties also include converting technical positioning into key market messages and launching the products into the market. 

This position is externally focused on execution, interface with sales channels and customers, market trends and driving growth.

  Qualifications:

·          Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry  – Required

·          Master’s degree in Business or Marketing – Preferred·         

           3 to 7+ years of solid, progressive experience in industrial marketing - Required

·          Experience in the “Analytical Instrumentation Business” - Required

Sr. Controls Engineer/Automation Project Manager

Location: East Windsor, NJ

Design and intergration of large control systems projects in the Life Sciences and Utilities industries.

Duties include: Project Planning, execution, installation and Start-Ups

Expertise in PLC programming, HMI, panel design, drives, motors, etc.

Technical Degree a must ( E.E., Computer Science, etc.)

Salary: $80k - $100

Company has matching 401k + Health and Dental, etc.

Operations Manager, Advanced Power Electronics 

Location: New Berlin, WI

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:  Under the direction of the Business Unit Manager, the Operations Manager leads the project and engineering team to ensure the good execution of the projects in order to deliver on the short and long term goals for volume and profitability for the business with a high degree of customer satisfaction, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments for the project management and engineering team, and directly supervise the projects execution and operational processes to ensure the meeting of goals for processing sold projects to meet or enhance the revenue based margin per project.

Analyze resource requirements based on business volume with the Business Unit Manager and the Sales Managers of the Systems businesses.  Make recommendations and implement resource changes as approved.  Provide workload visibility via resource scheduling.

In accordance with the SoX requirement, conduct monthly project reviews to ensure that the projects are running smoothly.  Project reviews shall include project progress compared to schedule, revenue recognition, actual cost versus budgeted, capture and analyze cost of poor quality, invoicing and collection, technical issues, opportunities for change orders, risk management etc.

Assist Project Managers with customer communication & internal escalation.  Participate and meet with customers when required. 

Interact with other Operational Manager within Power Electronics for sharing of best practices, processes, tools, consolidated reporting etc.

Interact with the local Product Manager and PRU in Europe (Product responsible Unit) to ensure that standard products are used, regarding technology, methods and standards.

Arrange for post mortem meetings for lessons learned.

Provide cost and operational input to the sales force on proposals to ensure execution aligns with scope, schedule and cost.

Ensure on-time and on budget completion of project.  Ensure that the product/solution is meeting customer requirements and specifications and company profit goals, from order booking through customer acceptance and warranty period.

Ensure compliance with all company procedures and statutory requirements, all safety and work rules and regulations, and departmental housekeeping standards.

Provide monthly and quarterly financial and operational reporting to the Business Unit Manager.  Also provide timely and accurate financial forecasting as needed.

Carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And Experience: Requires strong Project Management skills with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 10 - 12 years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Location: Baton Rouge.
 
Travel to customer sites for installations, start-ups and evaluations of Process Control Systems.
BS degree with 5 yrs experience in industrial automation field service, engineering or application engineering or customer service engineering.
Strong hardware and software skills/ Process controls experience, particularly DCS, a must.

$70-81k base + 10% bonus
